When you are talking about Dairy Queen you are surely thinking about ice cream. This is an ice cream and fast-food restaurant chain which can be found all over the United States, but also around the world. You can find a wide variety of food items in each of these restaurants, like American fast-food favorites and, of course, its signature soft-serve ice cream, but also other frozen products like slush.

The Dairy Queen company refers to the menu items it sells as “fan food” and not fast food. The restaurant was founded in the 1940s and served a new type of dessert treat and, shortly after that, extended into a very successful fast-food franchise. It’s been more than eighty years since the restaurant was in operation.

You can find Dairy Queen also under the name of DQ®. The recipe for success for its franchise system is a mix of people who work hard in the restaurants owned and operated by them, plus delicious desserts and food served inside these restaurants.

The company has the mission “to create positive memories for all who touch Dairy Queen®” and it has the vision to be “the world’s favorite quick-service restaurant”.

This restaurant has always been a good gathering place for families and friends. Here they could enjoy each other while eating tasty food. The success of the restaurant also comes from the customers’ satisfaction. As of today, in 2023 Dairy Queen is one of the largest fast-food chains in the whole world.
